…Whooosah!!! And I’m back :-D…I’m still not convinced if blogging is right for me hence my random disappearances…anyway yes, I’m back on the challenge…no one said it had to be 30 consecutive days right?…besides I can’t think of anything else to write about *sigh*…so mainstream music…I’ll go with the definition of whatever music is popular at the moment…actually hang on while I ask my best friend *read as google* …yup! I was right…well, popular music are popular for a reason right? Mostly, they are catchy, have interesting beats and kind of have a way of sticking to your brain till you are humming it all the time…personally, I don’t have much beef for mainstream music…if I don’t like it, I just switch stations and you won’t catch me buying (or downloading ;-)) the album…my ideology with music generally is to each his/her own…in one of the elective music courses I took, we had to listen to a recording of a man (don’t remember his name) playing the piano…and to me, it was pure and utter confusion…it was truly painful to listen to…the man played like I would when I was two years old…but that’s just me…some other people payed to hear him play…same reason I avoid the wacka flockas and soulja boys…I just don’t get it…shikena…nowadays, the only way I get to listen to mainstream music is if I’m in a cab and the radio is on…not that I’m stuck on old school music…I just prefer to accidentally find songs…I feel more attached to them that way…lol…so back to my views…I obviously don’t have any…I’m indifferent really…if I hear a mainstream song and I’m feeling it, then I’ll jam to it…other wise, it’s NEXT!!!
Random: apparently there’s a famine in Somalia…I know there are global food security concerns but I’m still kind of surprised…I really pray the people there get the aid they need…hopefully the rest of us will realize we need less steel structures and more farms soon…actually the earth as it is needs a lot more than that but…I’m definitely planning to have a farm of sorts…bring on the dungarees…old McDonald had a farm, E-I-E-I-O!
