…day 7 in my world…i’m still pretty determined to continue this challenge…i’m usually pretty laid back about things…actually I think I’ll leave that for the jury to decide…was going to say that I don’t think I have any peeves but hey, what am I thinking…I HATE dirty toilets/bathrooms…they are the stuff my nightmares are made of…literally…toilets that haven’t been flushed (my friend once had a roomie that never used to flush after she’d done the deed…yes in this same 2011)…toilets/bathroom with mystery liquid all over the floor…yes…they actually haunt me in my nightmares…next on my list are patronising people…my days!!! I abso-frigging-lutely cannot stand people who kiss other people’s tushies…there’s a fine line between being sincere and patronising…and some people willingly cross that line…and it gets under my last nerve…next is overly neat people…you know the types that are always cleaning and moving things around…yeah, them…my theory is that they’ve got something to hide…or at least running away from…they don’t exactly annoy me except for when they get into my space…I love my organized chaos exactly as it is…and nope, you are not doing me a favour by helping me “arrange” it…ahhhh…I almost forgot bad customer service…and where i’m from, that’s the order of the day…actually there should be an award ceremony for crappiest service…there’d definitely be a lot of contenders…really though, if you don’t like your job, quit…complaining about not being paid enough and having to work long hours…well your lot won’t improve if you keep acting like a douche to all the customers either…there’s always the option of quitting by the way…but then you’ll have a lot more to be bitter about…God knows being polite and actually helpful never killed anyone (you’d think it actually does though with the way customer service is non-existent)….oh yeah and the last one…people who try to impose in any way on you…that includes people that expect you to tip when they’ve been anything but helpful, people that try to live their lives through you, etc….to all those people, please kindly step out of my way…I bite…seriously…we all have our individual lives…don’t get greedy and try to impose on mine…or tell me what i’m supposed to do…I also have a mind and if I need help, I’ll ask…I think that’s about it…but since i’m trying to be more laid back, I try not to let these things get to me…water off a duck’s back…
Oh no wait…a major peeve…people who do crazy things in the name of religion, thus making us who have beliefs look bad…that just annoys the living daylight out of me…I don’t know how I could have skipped that…over the last weekend, there was a bomb blast in Abuja and the people responsible feel that they are justified in the name of Islam…i’m not a Muslim but I know for a fact that the religion does not condone murder…ignorance is not bliss…
