…Been long you saw me… ;-)

oh yeah….the prodigal child is back…Happy new year…i’ve kinda missed you…and rambling on here…since I’ve been gone, I’ve graduated from uni (yay me!!!) and I’ve now crossed the line from being a student to unemployed…hopefully it won’t be that way…searching for jobs is a major drag…and it’s a downer but I’m just going to be optimistic and not let it get me down…one thing I’ve realized from all this so far is that getting a good job is not only about the good grades only…you need to socialize…network…get to know people…be adventurous…you just might meet people who can help when you are searching for a job…and even if not, it still makes you a more interesting person…it’s a win-win situation…but if your time management skills suck then you might be losing on some sleep…meanwhile I’m really bored and i need an outlet so here i am again…I’ve got some books I’ve been meaning to read for a while now and I’m only just getting round to doing that….i might do reviews as i read them…no I’m not a literary genius/connoisseur…i just like to read books and share my interpretations of them 🙂 I just started with “The Time Traveler’s Wife” by Audrey Niffenegger

…so far it’s pretty good..it’s about this guy who randomly travels through time to different ages of his life…and he’s got a wife who he met as a child during his time travels…actually this part isn’t making that much sense to me now…I’m not sure if he met his wife as a child or an adult…but I’m still in the early chapters…i hear there’s a movie…i think I’ll watch that too even though i know the movies are usually not as good as the books…but I’m curious..and sometimes there are some things that your imagination can’t get quite right and the movies help with that 🙂
…I also started watching the series “Secret Diary of a Call Girl” and I think it’s quite nice

…I remember Billie Piper used to be a singer a while ago but I don’t think I ever listened to any of her songs…I think she’s a pretty good actress though…her mannerisms and facial expressions just crack me up…and she also makes her role as Hannah/Belle very believable too…oh yeah and I signed up for karate classes again 🙂 I started taking classes about two years ago but I had to stop because of I got really busy at uni…oh well…I’m back on it now 🙂
..I really do not know how to be idle…having nothing to do actually makes me sad…I mean when I’m busy, I might whine about how stressed I am but it actually makes me feel alive…sure i take breaks too but after a week, I’m ready to be thrust into the chaos all over again…I don’t know how housewives/husbands do it…I know some of them get really busy managing the affairs of the house, kids, etc…but those that have maids/assistants for everything…how on earth do they do it???
…Oh yeah and I’ve been listening to the Weeknd’s “echoes of silence” and L Marshall’s “the wait” mix-tapes…i thought Frank Ocean’s “nostalgia” was as good as it gets but these new voices…man…i just love it when I’m listening to a song and I’m transported by the voice…like it unlocks emotions inside of me…i really can’t describe the feeling i get when i like what I’m listening too…actually i think eargasmic pretty much covers it…music is definitely good for the soul…hmmm hmmm hmmm
