…there’s this song I remember from an ad for something I don’t remember…goes something like “…all you gotta do is, EXPRESS YOURSELF tan ta na na tan tan tan tan ta tan nana nana…” Yeah something like that…anyway it’s been coming up in my head a lot lately and I guess my subconscious is trying to tell me something…I need to be more expressive…I have my own ideas and opinions but for the most part, I just keep them in my head…I’d rather be the observer…but then that’s mostly because I’m shy and I try to keep my people interaction to a minimum…people being strange people…my friends will probably swear on their lives that I’m not shy…how did we become friends you say? I really don’t know…must have happened while I wasn’t looking…oh well…since I’ve joined the rat race labour force, I’ve come to realize how much of social skills I lack…as my older brother says, I have no emotional intelligence…maybe I wouldn’t have been bothered but I’ve got plans for myself in and out of the corporate world and to a great extent, I’ll need to know how to “work the room”… since there’s no software update for that, I guess I’d just have to go the manual way and learn it…and I think I should with being more expressive and venturing out of my comfort zone…
…in other news, I’m trying to be more fitness and health conscious…work out more consistently and eating clean…been lax about those lately…eating cleaner now though and I’m on this 10-week workout challenge…
…the workouts are pretty basic and I think it’s a good way to get myself used to working out consistently before upping the ante…
…that reminds me…I put up a writing challenge here and I haven’t finished it yet…maybe I’ll start with that tomorrow…
#RandomThought…was unpacking a bag that also had foodstuff in it and rats had eaten through the bag as helped themselves to some of the foodstuff and it got me thinking how truly nasty those things are…but yet again they can also be admired for their survival skills…between them and roaches, I’m not sure which one i hate more…I mean I’m intrigued by them only as long as they aren’t within a 1km radius of where I am…
